About Us
Rallyemont is a private Saskatchewan based Company engaged in the exploration and development of thermal heavy oil projects in west-central Saskatchewan. The Company was founded in 2009, and since that time, has evolved quickly from a concept to a company with a large heavy oil land position with great potential for significant recoverable resource.
Rallyemont’s current land position encompasses 83 sections (53,000 acres) with almost 100% interest in the rights to explore for and develop petroleum and natural gas. Geological information from over 150 historic drill holes in and around Rallyemont’s lands, estimated by management to cost tens of millions to reproduce today, was used to track the subsurface oil bearing channel sands. In addition, this information, along with the new geological data collected by Rallyemont, was used by independent petroleum evaluators, McDaniel & Associates, to develop a National Instrument 51-101 compliant reserves and resources estimate as of October 31, 2011 of approximately 20.1 million barrels of 2P reserves and 56.8 million barrels of best estimate contingent resources. All reserves and resources were assigned based on the thermal EOR recovery process - steam-assisted gravity drainage (SAGD). Given the total 2P reserves and best estimate contingent resources of 76.9 million barrels, a 5,000 to 10,000 barrel per day thermal project could be sustained for over 40 to 80 years.
